(I’m bracing for the venom from his followers that always follows ANY criticism of their Demi-god)…

@manh9105 ….What in the world are you TALKING about? Christianity is not a “scheme” (no more than the other, two Abrahamic religions—Judaism & Islam—are)….Although people might have had ulterior motives for their conversions, that does NOT mean that they (and their children, and their children’s children) do not become faithful believers…. If you look back far enough, you will find that MOST of the world’s populations were FORCEFULLY converted (this was particularly true with Islam and, to a lesser extent, Christianity). Does that mean that today’s Muslims (or Christians or Jews) are not true believers—because their Great-great-great grandparents were forcefully converted?

@jamfold2956 ….Guess I don’t know what you mean by a “Ponzi scheme?” Christianity is the largest religion in the world…. (I said that “I wouldn’t blame” anyone who was treated so badly by people of their own faith switching to a different one—especially Christianity, that views all fellow believers as their “brothers” and “sisters”…. I saw with my own eyes how too many Hindus treat Christians in India (burning down churches, attacking parishioners)—- I thought I was in a Muslim country….Perhaps it is Hindu intolerance toward Christians that makes Christian converts renounce their faith? ….I will say one thing : If more in the West see the way that too many Christians are treated by Hindus in India, India will begin to be seen as another Afghanistan (because there is ONE thing that all Westerners know—and that’s that Christianity is a NON-VIOLENT religion)…

No, a “caste system” (as it’s usually defined) never existed in Europe, that I am aware of…..(If you wanted to push the boundaries of the definition, you could, of course, argue that the son of a nobleman was far more advantaged to the son of a peasant (however, both practiced the same religion—and there WAS mobility between groups —as when a commoner was “knighted” by his sovereign, thus propelling his family into the gentry)….
