@badomen9057 ….From your prior comments, it hardly surprises that you would frame ignoble intentions ( throwing tomatoes from the sidelines ) as principled action….But, it won’t do.
While brushing up on Ethics, you might wish to fill the obviously empty void you have in Twentieth-Century history….The past eighty years have represented the greatest span of time—in all of world history—in which no wars among the earth’s major powers were fought….This wasn’t serendipity. It is the RESULT of the rules-based order that the U.S. designed, implemented—and enforced (and continues to enforce)….If you think that we “tilt the game” so that most of the balls go into our own holes, you’re correct : It’s the one benefit of being the game architect (on the deficit side, we also shoulder the greatest burden—both financially & with human capital)….
We do not always get it right—but most ppl with a decent grounding in world history agree that a better system for maintaining (even a sometimes tense) equilibrium among powers has yet to be found….And always, the Authoritarians are on our heels, and closing the distance ( today, they are Russia, China & Iran)….Democracies are an ever-shrinking minority….It is easy to dismiss what you have & do not understand if you haven’t lived in an alternate system, or haven’t a deep understanding of world history 1850-1950….I would recommend filling in those gaps (if you wish to be an effective “opposition”), otherwise, you’re merely an angry voice in the Peanut Gallery….
Such fascination with “account dates.” ( Not everyone has employment that allows them the luxury of YouTube accounts )
