The problem is that Hamas largely IS Palestine—and vice-versa….So many of the Palestinians who haven’t actually joined Hamas, support them—in many ways ( and I still haven’t heard a single Palestinian who has condemned the Oct 7 massacre )…. If it weren’t for the children ( who Palestinians grotesquely exploit—both by inculcating them with hatred, both in home & school —and by not protecting them, by having bomb shelters available)….I, frankly, wouldn’t care much what their fate was….
