  2.  @finaLee69 ….If “China is the future,” guess we all should prepare for massive unemployment, financial instability, population collapse, polluted air, earth and water, massive State corruption, concentration camps, Tofu Dreg infrastructure, divisive Wolf Warrior “diplomacy,” the bullying of neighbour States, loss of personal freedoms, loss of freedom of travel, poisoned food, being “welded” into our homes, forced into quarantine centers, lied to about diseases & death tolls, etc, etc, etc….. What a horrific future.

  3. …..And people still pretend that Fifth Columnists no longer exist?….For WHATEVER reason(s), ethnic Chinese who obtain citizenship in other countries have demonstrated a growing tendency to not only still be strongly influenced by China—but to often feel more allegiance to China than to their adopted country…. If an actual war between China & the West were to occur, such individuals could do much damage….As no one wants to see a repeat of WWII’s Japanese “internment camps,” Western Governments MUST do more now to weed out potential future threats among Chinese immigration applicants….

  4. @@badofi ….Really? You don’t see it in Singapore?….I have (very) long ties to Singapore (with many family members still living there). They tell me frequently about the growing pro-Beijing sentiment they are seeing there….The vast majority of Singaporeans are, of course, ethnic Chinese (and even though they are third, fourth & fifth-generation, there is something about Chinese culture that seems to exert a different effect on those raised with it from those born into other cultures —and this effect seems to transcend nationality)…. When, say, a Japanese or a German family emigrate to Australia, for example, they tend to become 100% “Australian” by the second generation, their values & beliefs indistinguishable from those of 20th-generation Australians….We have seen a different picture with ethnic Chinese—in EVERY country they emigrate to (not just “Western” ones)….Perhaps it’s due to the indoctrination they are brought up with (irregardless of birthplace), but they show statistically verifiable “divided loyalties.” I’ll be returning to Singapore in March for a month’s visit, and will see/hear for myself whether this phenomenon IS increasing….

  5. (And, btw, I deeply love Singapore, its people, and LKY’s vision….I am simply very concerned that Singapore remains Singapore—and is able to remain NEUTRAL in the coming times)….

  9. @@user-ig8ln6pi9m It has nothing to do with your views on “gays” or other social issues. It has everything to do with your closely thinking like & identifying with China—a country which the rest of the world views as a pariah (with good reason).

MOST other ethnicities DON’T consider themselves “German,” “British,” etc. once they obtain US, Australian, etc citizenship….They consider themselves as “Americans,” “Australians,” etc. and usually CUT most ties with their country of origin…. Ethnic CHINESE seem to be the only exception to this rule—even THIRD, FOURTH GENERATIONS, still tied to China? (Something is VERY wrong with that—Western countries are beginning to wake up to the threat)…. Bottom line : NO Western country wants “citizens” whose alliegance is to a Communist, Authoritarian State…..(What is it that makes this so difficult for you to understand)? Most Westerners DON’T LIKE China—and see it as a very BAD influence on the world….(Do you live in a bubble)?
