Most Iranians lived modern, secular, 20th C lives — until, overnight, a cabal of Islamists took over….Like the recent women’s protests in Iran against wearing the Hijab, or the mass, street demonstrations against the Islamists, the majority of Iranians don’t agree with their medieval overlords…. I’ve known many Iranian/Persian exiles. Always been impressed with their determination to reclaim their country from the crazies….
