Exactly. If they hurt her by locking him up, it will destroy him in time….She needs mental health—not prison.

His Mum obviously has some mental/emotional issues—HOWEVER, a young man does NOT turn out so polite, sweet & well-mannered, without a pretty decent Mum….I hope she gets the mental care she needs—and that they don’t put her in prison (which would DESTROY THIS BOY)

@Diamond38971 I hope for HIS SAKE they do not charge her. She obviously has mental health issues (“fearing” the Government)—but just as obviously, she LOVES him, as an unloved kid would never turn out like this….IF they imprison her, just watch: it will damage HIM (as he keeps saying, “I always worry about her”)

I believe his Mum has mental/emotional problems. Alex is old enough now that he can see them, but he is still very protective of her….Sending her to prison would damage HIM (and would do nothing to help her)….She needs psychiatric care—not prison (and Alex doesn’t need to be saddled with guilt over how his Mum is doing in jail)….

@zephyr139 ….As an educator, I would bet that he’s ABOVE most of his “educated” peers in vocabulary, reading comprehension & logic (based on listening to him speak). Additionally, he is fluent in a second language (French), a level that few UK students master …. Where he is likely very lacking: Maths & sciences (both of which can be remedied with one-on-one tutoring)…As he indicated he has worked in carpentry, geometry will likely come fairly easily to him—and he is a bright, young man, so should be able to catch up within 18 mos, with effort…

I DISAGREE with Hilton. Victims, by their very nature, keep trying to make their coercer happy ( there’s like a 20-yr age difference—it’s disgusting )
