  2. Peter needs to AVOID subjects he knows so little about (military tactics, changing geopolitics). It would also help him a lot if he stopped making “absolute” statements, i.e., “China will not try to invade Taiwan” (stated by him 3 was ago)…. Why not, “I don’t believe that…? Or, “This area isn’t my speciality, but I would guess….” Such a better way to communicate (and doesn’t make him sound like such a blow-hard when wrong)….

  3. WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. China WOULD NOT “WIN.” Peter knows “zilch” about military tactics—including trying to take a heavily fortified island…. The US & West CAN NOT allow Taiwan to fall. China can & will shut down Pacific sea lanes if they do (not to mention threaten our closest allies: Japan, S Korea, Phill & AUS)

  4. Because he’s a blowhard—without the humility to even preface his “statements” with the obvious : “This really isn’t my area of specialty, but I’d guess that….” (He would have far more credibility if he did so)….
