Nah….You can’t call Poland as a “traditional staunch EU ally” (and good for Poland)….Poles are far more conservative—and have long refused to be forced into taking Islamic “migrants”….

@carolgreen-fn1tm ….That’s because they are the only EU country who refused to capitulate to BOTH Germany AND the USSR during WWII—fighting both—and losing the highest % of their citizens during the war than any other European country ( Only to have then been forced under Communist dictatorship for over 40 yrs—until they rebelled )….. The Polish character has been forged under adversities no other EU member has ( that is why they are so tough—and do not allow their country to be manipulated by others )….
