  1. I remember reading once that bright car colors tend to sell better in a good economy, when they can sell trendy/seasonal colors that go in and out of fashion quickly. That 2021 special shade of green will quickly look dated if you can't afford to buy another new car in five years when it's no longer the fashionable color. On the other hand, in bad economies, classic colors like black, white, and silver tend to sell better because they are timeless. A white car never goes out of style.
