  1. Remember when smartphone companies were trying to make modular phones that were easy to upgrade, customize, and repair? That would be the better way to go if they really cared about sustainability and "going green" like they claim. Instead, they make phones more disposable (oops, can't pop in a new battery because yours is dying, better buy a new phone....) and harder to repair (can't replace just the screen, have to replace the whole display, which costs almost as much as the device itself). It's maddening. Oh and they pretend they're "going green" by not including a charger in the box.... which they're happy to ship to you separately, and charge you for....

  2. I noticed this the other day! The crappy thing is I pay for YouTube premium because it keeps me busy at work, so they're doubly screwing me. They're already getting my money! I am a paying customer. But they still are screwing me over if I keep my adblock on. There is no reason for them to do this to those of us who pay.
