Disappointed about a cancelled flight when an ice storm is occurring is kind of weird in my opinion. I remember sitting on board a flight that was held at the gate, years ago, because the wings on the plane were frozen over and iced covered! After waiting for over two hours, we the passengers were pleading for the airline crew to “just let us off the plane!” But the crew did not. So fear took OVER! And it became VERY scary sitting and waiting as they kept deicing and deicing the wings. Then the plane had to be pulled out to the runway because it had no traction! We were stuck on a bed of ice. This made taking off feel like a bumpy bumpy countdown to death. However, thankfully, we survived. But I would not wish that experience on ANYONE!!! Safety FIRST! And that makes for a Happy Christmas gift!🎁🎄🎁
