Chris Tapp “had an attorney” and that is how he was interrogated??? Where was his attorney?

I suspect deeply hidden insecurities. Sad stuff.
96
The last story was great! Jessica’s grace in the midst of a very dark storm is inspiring!❤
94
This just started and I literally got chills when they said the lady who found her was “a retired trauma counselor.” Wow!!! Beautiful. I have happy tears. Thank you LORD!❤ P. S. CBS used the veteran journalist to cover this story and it is noticeably refreshing, in my opinion. Very personal reporting without invasive manufactured (cut-away) journalist interruptions.
93
First thing I thought of when I heard that was her need to find normalcy in the midst of such a horrific tragedy. That account touched me deeply. So so sad.
91
Love these 48 Hours marathons! I’m too financially strapped to do many activities. But each Saturday night becomes my fun night as I typically prep for a fun night of viewing these videos. 48 Hours team…thank you, really.❤

Umm. Wait. She’s speaking English at the police station. And “she would never harm anyone,” but she “just fell in love” with a married man who has five kids with his wife. That’s not harm?
85
The millionaire husband seems like a time bomb, especially showing anger that seems to rest just below his highly controlled surface. I actually remember the original air date of this episode as well as the America’s Most Wanted airing. Fun to go back in time when seeing Dan Rather and the very young reporter, Peter van Sant.
83
Sad. Honestly, the lady, Toni, did not look happy in most of the videos I saw in this episode, in my opinion. And remember, all psychopaths are described as “charming” people. So sad for every family member.🥺
77
Thank you so so much for this episode, although it is older: RIP Det Landwehr. I have always been fascinated with the Wichita BTK story, but was tired of only hearing about the victimizer. Hearing the victim’s story and a show dedicated to the lasting impact of experiencing such trauma is very important, in my opinion. My eyes welled with tears as I heard of those adult children STILL AFFECTED by the community blaming their FATHER for the crime; this is extremely sobering for me. Gosh. I pray I never verbally hurt people, especially based on assumption due to popular opinion rather than facts!
74
So, you are dating a guy who is married and his wife goes missing and he is not looking for her; would you not go to the cops and ask if you can help them get answers? Like, think Scott Peterson; what did Amber do??? She worked WITH THE POLICE.
42
This collage of episodes makes for a great night for me. Thank you for sharing this!

Well, I learned something new about myself today. I seriously prefer WATCHING cases rather than hearing them while looking at one stagnant photo.🥺. Update: I listened, enjoyed it, but kept looking up at the screen to see the “beauty” discussed. I felt a bit irritated when I instinctively glanced at the screen only to see….a…stagnant….photo.😑. My imagination had to work overtime during this episode.😂😂😂

Episode 1: Oregon…we’ve got a problem. If that guy has women flocking to him…😮…what is wrong with the men in that state???!!!😵💫 Episode 3: Umm…I’m thinking the name Armstrong and cycling are not a good match.😞 Episode 4: Loving father but agrees to not speak with his daughter because he was “advised” to not speak to anyone who does not believe he is innocent??? Like….REALLY???🤔
36
Gruesome! Weird how he had the same eyes as Manson in his latter years. As the one lady said, I agree: to think he was the last person their loved one saw before being murdered; that is absolutely horrific, in my opinion. Honestly, at first glance, I thought he was the other sick California psycho: Richard Ramirez.
35
Months ago, I saw this and did not pay much attention. Now I watch this as I walk through a horrible season, as the mom described, an experience that feels like “purgatory,” and I pity these parents. Out of the blue, their storm hit. And those storms literally engulf you as you simply strive to survive. But to then have people jeering at you through every venue, wow, that is terribly taxing. Horrible situation. May we all learn from their shared situation because their storm might provide each of us strength when we walk through our unexpected moments of absolute despair.❤

Episode 2: No judgement intended, but let me say, so too did wives say, “When you marry someone, you know their heart and their soul” said Gary Ridgway’s wife and Dennis Rader’s wife and a many others. So, no, sorry dear, you NEVER truly know another person thoroughly. Episode 3: Really, RFK???😵💫

Impressive to see a Harold Dows 48 Hours episode. I miss his reporting. However, after watching this grievous episode, I hope the days of interviewing killers for television shows are OVER! Those manipulators do NOT need any more attention nor a welcomed desire to hear them discuss their power trips.
28
The “best friend.” Wow.😮 And some wonder why I have trust issues.😞. Glad 48 Hours added this older Winger story to this Marathon. Very baffling, shocking, and revealing.
28
Wow! With approximately “4600” teens per year ending their lives, we have more than one health crisis in America.😢😢😢!!! This case hinges on one act: a friend calls you when they are deeply depressed, do you respond by saying, “Hold on” as you call for help; or do you say, “Well, do it, what are you waiting for?” Receiving a 15 month sentence is nearly embarrassing. But being released 3 months early is downright shocking! America America, how your justice scales shift oh so inconsistently.😢
21
Sad that this child murderer holds power over the victim’s families and the justice system yields to his dictates. Sickening, in my opinion.🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮
20
This is my opinion only, which I am sharing after watching the first seven minutes of this episode. Honestly, seeing the first family video, I sensed tolerating in her expression rather than a genuine happiness. Let me keep watching.
19
Yay!!! Love these marathons. I am familiar with the first case. However, this time I am watching without multitasking and that stepdaughter does not seem innocent on the stand, in my opinion.
18
Good to see James Brown’s professionalism on 48 Hours. I was familiar with the story and nearly turned it off until I saw Mr. Brown and heard the retelling of this tragedy. On a side note, I have got to say, to all the men stimulated by the eye candy that rely’s upon the fake hair, fake nails, and overall fake beauty, you need to take a look at what you are truly lusting after: 33:25 - 33:30 minute marker. Please don’t let lust convince you that you are experiencing true committed love.😢
15
He couldn’t feel too bad, he never gave himself up until he was caught. That’s not feeling or being sorry for anything…except being caught years later.
13
🤔…is this a tutorial video for older men and what NOT to do??? “13 day” relationship with a “30 year younger girl” and that leads to a marriage??? Sounds VERY STRANGE, in my opinion.
13
@missangie001 …to say the least. My initial comment read: note to self: if you hire an attorney and learn he once represented Chris Tapp….RUN!!!😵💫!
12
Wait, regarding the second episode in Grapevine, Texas, a 29 year old man dating a 18 year old is telling. Glad that officer went after that sick man. Did that ex-girlfriend, Caitlyn’s, father, uncle, grandfather, or other men in her family ever think to get involved in protecting their young female relative?
12
Hearing ten minutes about this relationship and I’m ready for a divorce! I watch maybe one or two 48 Hours episodes per week and that is as close to a marriage I will ever get!😉
10
What is the common denominator in over 95% of these cases?🤔 I have an idea. People probably need to rethink this “happy ever after” idea of “love.” The he or she made her happy litmus test is really not the best way to determine the best life partner. And to the single folks who get involved with a divorced person, you need to do research research research long before getting emotionally attached! If they can break a vow once, it can happen again! That “love” happiness you are feeling, is exactly that…a FEELING! And feelings DO NOT LAST!
9
The scary part for me: the gorgeous smiling photos, yet again.😔!!! I seriously do NOT trust images anymore. Oh, and on a side note, the social media shared love notes telling your mate—publicly—how wonderful they are and how they are such a blessing to you, that too is a sickening façade. Public love messages….really??? 🤔…no…that is not convincing either! Well, at least in my opinion.
9
What a case!😵💫! The only thing that shocked me was seeing her nodding her head yes in the courtroom when the person testified that she paid $1300.00 to the (cleaning) lady. Craziness!
8
My Saturday night tradition! Thanks for the post!
8
It’s that time!!! Thanks 48 Hours staff.❤
7
This just started and the 911 operator’s response literally distracted me. Caller calls 911 and states a friend told me “she killed her stepdad.” 911 operator’s response, “Soooo, what are you trying to report?”😵💫!!! Like….🥺….really???? How clear do you have to be when calling an emergency service DURING a traumatic event????😳
7
Beautiful! Amazing how the body heals over time. This video appeared a minute after I was reflecting on my one year recovery from sustaining a TBI. A year ago at this time, I just started cognitive therapy and was paralyzed with fear (TBI induced PTSD) to walk outside. Now as I type this, a year later, I still struggle to spell words. However, by reflecting on my recovery and seeing the two ladies one year after their traumatic encounter, I thank God for the beauty of his created gathered matter, dust to dust, and how healing can occur as we help each other during shattering crises.❤
7
And if you saw their photos on social media sites, you would think they are in a covetable lasting relationship. NOT! I am SO OVER this smile for the camera fallacy, which people, globally, strive to achieve based on a one second image. Sickening.
7
WHAT????? Same evidence. Different verdicts??? Horrible! Expressions…tell…the…story. God, please evoke the proper justice in this case.🙏
7
Indeed. This is very tough. As someone said in an earlier comment, I too agree: this could easily be termed a toxic relationship. Sad.
6
The Chandler case just baffles me. Seeing the guy going door-to-door asking about his parents, when he knew their fate, is mind-blowing for me. Man! How calloused can he be??? Something is seriously wrong with his mind, in my opinion. Absolute disconnect.😢. And, P. S. That girlfriend needs to really examine her love interests because keeping a lying lover who you must track for honesty reveals another serious internal problem in her life, in my opinion.😢
6
Thanks for tonight’s upload!!!🎊
6
Wait. 15:00 minutes into the first episode, and it is easy to say, you don’t have to be an educated doctor to find the images disturbing.😮! And not to sound rude, that “doctor” didn’t look sound in the bar mitzvah tape.😢
6
Seeing her hubris young attorney, early in this episode, I instantly thought this guy is NOT helping this case at ALL! Then as I was watching his courtroom actions, I was extremely pleased with the judge putting him in his place. Young attorneys, view this and see how over confidence can destroy a case, especially in defense. That was embarrassing, in my opinion.
6
Post Viewing Update: Okay, this is longer than expected. Sorry. I noticed how the husband often made comments about her physique. It was also mentioned that he was bent on “saving,” or having money. Therefore, this makes me think the man was more interested in status, possibly, or even having socially elevated material possessions. This thought almost confirms my initial suspicion about the first family video. The taping was done to present a portrayed happy family, which they both seemed to want rather than the reality of being a committed union that travails through the ups and downs associated with relationships. Again, this is just my opinion, and I am certainly not any expert crime sleuth. 😂😂😂
5
WOW…😵💫…on so many levels.😮😳😢! And who suffers the most…the children.😔!
5
Wait. “We don’t know who initiated the physical confrontation?,” said the defense attorney for the client who is seen jumping over a fence and breaking into the victim’s home??? Ummm??? 🤔. Could I suggest, your client initiated the physical confrontation. How? By breaking into the woman’s home. Period. That act alone constitutes a physical confrontation, in my opinion.
5
This might sound harsh. Putting the murders aside, I would think Garcia’s family members HAVE to accept this man’s multiple terminations from credible medical facilities as some type of internal issue. The fact that he, a grown man, kept returning home earlier than expected from multiple medical residency trainings causes me to assume other factors are at work in this entire situation. 🥺
5
Mark’s second wife who was the daughter’s one time nanny.
5
Once again, the children are dragged into this type of trauma. Horrible. Absolutely horrible.😢
5
Gosh! This happened during the Ridgway days! I thought it was a new Green River case. But can you believe it!!! The guy who built the memorial bench FOR SARAH was a distant cousin of her murderer!!! How eerie is THAT????😵💫
