  1. Thank you so so much for this episode, although it is older: RIP Det Landwehr. I have always been fascinated with the Wichita BTK story, but was tired of only hearing about the victimizer. Hearing the victim’s story and a show dedicated to the lasting impact of experiencing such trauma is very important, in my opinion. My eyes welled with tears as I heard of those adult children STILL AFFECTED by the community blaming their FATHER for the crime; this is extremely sobering for me. Gosh. I pray I never verbally hurt people, especially based on assumption due to popular opinion rather than facts!

  2. Honestly, I think they should have put Rader down just like the fate of his murderous heroic predecessor, Glatman: DEATH! And whatever we do when these murderers are caught, could we PLEASE STOP INTERVIEWING AND ANALYZING these killers so that they can no longer exhibit MORE control as educators and esteemed teachers worthy of attention. The best thing Rader experienced was his ‘audience,’ or the victimized survivors, walking out on him before he could open his mouth and exercise his control, again, over them by judicially—in a government controlled environment—forcing them to listen to him with undivided attention. HORRIBLE!!! By doing this, he is provided judicial permission to imprison them once again, in my opinion, and that is a very sobering reality!
