This is my first visit. I deeply appreciate how you, the host, remain true to who you are as you interview. Others try to adapt the esteemed person’s style even speaking like them. However, you remained you. Nice.👍

41 minutes in, and I am thoroughly enjoying this interview. However, I certainly recognize the confusion of having a parent who wasn’t a loving parental figure. They were instead your greatest and toughest critic, which you implemented as fuel used to make you succeed. Yet, in reality, that fuel is as a poison developed in your neurological system that makes you a hyper vigilant survivor. But that same fuel will eventually level you with toxins that riddle your body as the critical parent encourages you to let them know how proud you are of THEM for making you who you are today. THAT is the hell of childhood abuse. What a shame. Next week I start another level of therapy due to my abusive childhood, which was commonly called being disciplined. See???😢 Good episode! Thanks for the deep conversations you engage in with the people who are elevated but struggling through life like all us other minions, but even with their millions.
