  1. I am hearing or sensing some believe America “abandoned” Afghanistan. Yet, I want to know what and who were leading that nation when foreign military personnel were there for TWENTY YEARS??? Now, in ONE DAY their government has collapsed? Instead of living happily with dancing boys and acquiring an unequally wealthy population, over that twenty year peaceful respite, maybe their society should have been striving to establish a solid leadership to contend with any foe that rises against them. Sadly, it seems, they used those twenty years to “take thine ease” (Luke 12:15-21).
