ALL of the years of “counter intelligence” and “secret” tunnels evaporate as the Russians expose an FBI spy TO the FBI. Got that??? And what becomes of it. Well, the covert work begins, the spy is identified, and caught as THE “covert” agent used to expose the spy decides to sell his “covert” story to Hollywood, leaves the nation’s federal investigation agency to do book tours, television, radio, and podcast interviews and eventually became a wealthy book circuit attorney all because he helped “reveal” a handed over FBI spy TO the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Is this an ‘only in America’ rags to riches story or should we bow our heads in embarrassment because our spied on foes were the ones who informed our highly esteemed investigation agency that one of THEM, a federal investigation agent, has been used by us, your foes, as an informant for telling us how you have been spying on us; do we laugh or do we cry??? I am baffled. Honestly. I really am.
