What???? I lived in the NYC area during 1993 and never heard of this! This is old news!!! But the cops love it! They get overtime, arrest quotas, and an increase for their funding due to a “crisis” situation. Don’t forget court fees and the fee for your bike to be released. They know what they are doing; it all comes down to GREED!!!
