The schools in bad areas (as in high crime rates) have barbed fences and metal detectors, but the schools in better and safer areas (less crime, better community) don’t because the state thinks ALL the money for protection needs to go to the more dangerous schools. Kind of makes sense, but they’re leaving the other schools defenseless.
