  1. Here in Australia most new cars these are automatic, so a lot of younger people don't know how to drive a manual. Which I believe caused some issues getting people who could drive trucks of various types here, plus as technology has increased in trucks for various reasons. This has increased the use of automatics in trucks, as well as increasing the pool of people who can drive trucks.

  2. Tipping: glad I haven't been to America, cause if I got the bill and was expected to pay a "20%" tip. I would be sorely tempted to them get there boss to give them a pay rise and stop begging for money.
