  1. Australia being hot Christmas, it's usually a cold meal for Christmas lunch. Mainly leg of ham, roast chicken, prawns, if you can swing it pricewise lobster and salads.

  2. Haven't eaten beef or lamb that often in Australia it is expensive these days, they've become treat proteins. Fish can be expensive depending on what you buy, pork's getting up there as well. Chicken is still relatively affordable.
