  1. Calder park raceway, which includes the thunderdome banked raceway. That used to run NASCAR and AUSCAR hasn't been used since the 94/95 season, apparently still driveable but not used. Other parts are still used for other forms of racing.

  2. Used to go to speedway a lot in the 70's and 80's, they moved the inner suburban track out of the city out to the country. Wasn't prepared to make the 120 mile round trip every Friday and Saturday nights.

  4. Going through Melbourne many decades ago, saw a racing semi truck. Easy to pick, 5th wheel removed and area covered in stainless steel. Humungos rear wing, big turbo and exhaust when he put the foot down, it just lifted and took off bloody brilliant
