  2. I remember back in the '60's rubbish trucks had 4 man teams, the trucks would have hessian/burlap bags off the sides of the trucks. 1 guy driving, 1 guy collecting the beer bottles and 2 guys running either side of the streets picking up and returning the metal bins as they went.
