Think most states you need to be 16 to 18 to get your learners permit/licence and up to 12 months before you can go for your driver's test. If you pass the test then it's 2 years on a provisional licence, if you don't get into trouble for those 2 years then you get your full licence. So it can take about 3 years to go from no licence to full licence. Is that correct people?
