  1. Nothing to forgive and you have not let us down. You have a life outside of your work and this channel is your work. As a former manager you would grant leave to an employee who had a bereavement. We the consumer of this channel would do the same. Do what you need to do in your private life to make that life a productive and happy experience. My best wishes.
