  1. Two reasons forGermans taking Soviet boots. One was their bookt were falling apart because of huge distances they had to walk in the USSR and German logistics had trouble supplying new ones. Second the Soviet boots for winter were much better suited to the cold so the Germans grabbed then when they could.
