Yes usual excuse the allies were just as bad. The Wehrmacht planned and agreed to support murder squads sent to the USSR in March 1941 before nay Germans soldier set foot in the USSR.

@Paciat The Wehrmacht agreed to support murder squads sent to the USSR in March 1941 before a single soldier entered the USSR. The was planned not in the heat of he moment. It was a war of annihilation.

@cocksucker7442 Yes mr Sucker you get your info from movies and tv. Read some books by historians and you might learn something.

That explains some activities. However the Wehrmacht supported the murder squads in the USSR. That was agreed in 1941. There was confiscation of food not only as a military "necessity" but also to send to the Reich. Top generals issued orders encouraging war crimes and made punishment for them optional.

You are mistaken https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEraxud7vZ4&t=42s

@jurisprudens That is not the only atrocities the Wehrmacht committed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEraxud7vZ4&t=42s

@jurisprudens I am not blaming the Wehrmacht for things it did not do but things it did do. In March 1941 the Wehrmacht agreed to support murder squads that were sent to the USSR even before one soldier set foot in the USSR. In addition the Wehrmacht stole food from civilians in the USSR and Greece to feed their troops and send food to the Reich causing famine and death. For a book you can read Ostfront by Fritz who details many of the crimes I mention. If you are interested in further reading I can suggest other titles by respected historians.

@jurisprudens How about reading the book I suggested. I had not brought up the confiscation of food before this and the starving of civilians. I did not bring up the agreement to support murder squads in the USSR in March 1941 before the invasion of the USSR. How about reading Ben Shepherd Hitler's Soldiers, Nicholas Stargardt The German War, Richard Evans The third Reich at War. I could talk about the Security divisions that slaughtered whole villages in Russia. A burning down their homes and leaving them homeless in the middle of winter. It seems to me you are covering your ears and don't want to look at the Wehrmacht crimes. I have listed plenty. You don't like the youtube videos and you could read any of the books if you had an open mind. All you can do is deny and deflect. Sorry there is plenty of evidence.

I understand what you are saying yet there are some things that need to looked at. The Wehrmacht agreed tor support the murder squads sent into the USSR in March 1941 before any German soldier invaded. The majority of the soldiers were Christians and had a religious training to some extent. The Generals and Field Marshalls sent orders to the troops encouraging war crimes see the von Reichenau order of Oct 1941 and it was passed to the troops by Manstein, von Rundstedt and others who were surely raised in the Christian Prussian tradition. What happened to these men who were the commanders of the Wehrmacht?

@colonelsmith7757 Here are some facts for you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0n43gGaQVwg&t=1s

They did not punish half the population. But they did not even get the 10% who were most implicated in crimes.
