Transphobia is the fear, disgust, hatred, or irrational distrust of transgender people. And yes, the idea that trans identity is a delusion is irrational distrust because it directly contradicts psychological research

  38.  @PoppyKat72  A study from 2023 by Price and Green shows that acceptance of trans identity lowers suicide rate. All data points to trans inclusive policies being good for trans people. Which kinda suggests the problem is with cultural refusal to accept transgender people

  40. @BelissaCohen  The swedish study... give me a break. That study compared the suicidality of trans people to nontrans people. Not pretransitioned trans people to transitioned trans people. All available studies shows a reduction in psychological distress for trans people following gender affirming care. I'm very tired of the same TERF distortions every time.
