  2.  @kafkacommercialstudios4124  Did anyone else in Singapore know how to do that, though? Your argument ignores just how FRACTURED the city was; most of its inhabitants were too busy fighting each other to exploit the port's economic potential. So, no, it becoming successful was NOT inevitable.

  4.  @martinlee7102  Which I don't condone, and he later admitted was not morally just. Maybe those guys would have caused total chaos if left alone, maybe not.
