  1. Eva wasn't some genius schemer or anything. She was a pretty airhead and little else. While I don't like quoting Albert Speer, he summed her up best: "For writers of history, Eva Braun is going to be a disappointment."

  2. A key difference is that Lenin was more aware of Stalin's political maneuvering, but the stroke he suffered kept him from acting. Stalin screwed up big time when he viciously insulted Lenin's wife over the phone, but he bounced back through sheer luck. He later apologized to her and she came to support his policies.
