  1. The "lying, stinking teeth" line came after Hitler's "peace speech" following the unexpected rapid conquest of France. Hitler tried to get Britain to give up and let him do as he pleased on the continent, saying--in between falsifying history and essentially calling Churchill a butthead--that he didn't want to destroy Britain--and then abruptly awarding field marshal's batons to 12 of his commanders. Within minutes of the speech, Delmer, without authorization, responded with that famous line, and Churchill quickly endorsed it.
