  2. There is no mold in Russian houses. Mold is when the house is cold. In winter, it's death. This cheap accommodation is very warm. At -30C, it is normal to open the window from the heat :) Dark paint is just practical, it gets dirty less.

  5. ​ @KathyPrendergast-cu5ci  These are propaganda stories. The professor was supposed to have an extra room, like a child. So there are only 4 rooms from the state. Of course, not all norms were always fulfilled. But if that's how the professors' family lived, then the worker should live in a den with a bear.
