All that said though given the fact that acid attacks were a thing in Victorian London until public outrage got a handle on it; a century later the trope has been re imported under the guise of diversity and mass immigration. Our Governments response? Raise the age of purchase and stick on a bunch of regulation. Dammit! Less government not more and the one thing call me Dave (Cameron) said right was big society. Although that said the state will be needed to roll back the effects of mass immigration/multiculturalism IMO. But we gotta aim for the small government big society setting which has not existed arguably since pre ww2 let alone the creation of the Department of Education.
