Banking has been weaponised ever since King Louis the whichever shafted the Knights Templar over money he owed them but could not pay back so he deplatformed the templars with claims of blasphemy submitted to a Vatican which was all too happy to carve up the power (read wealth) the Templars' had accurred across the Crusades.
