  1. Back in 2012 I did the gaming channel thing and at one point I got an offer of a contract for a multiple channel network. The company that offered it was an offshoot of Maker Studio, the folks behind Pewdiepie. I declined however as I did not want to be tied to another's mast so to speak and what do you know, about 4 months later MCN's got shafted by a change in legal status from YouTube and in response they shut down pretty much everyone's adsense to protect themselves. Bottom line I was right not to sign a contract and chances are, if you are a content creator, you want to avoid signing contracts where ever possible.
