I’ve watched Styx since 2015. He’s one of a select few YouTubers I still keep up with since the days of Brexit and Maga. Despite not being a fan of my job I took Styx’s advice regarding picking up extra shifts to prepare for the inevitable economic downturn. As a result I nabbed a team leader role and the head chef role has being offered to me when current one leaves in January. MFW I’ll be earning more than I ever have even as most folks struggle financially like they never have before. Think I’ll have to buy Styx’s back catalogue of books lol. Stay safe out there people.

@ninaappelt9001 Mate, I live in the UK and my pub is a local institution that is heaving even during the economic downturn. Damn place is only getting busier as people drown their woes. I'm pretty confident my job is safe, more so when I get off zero hour contract and go salary via head chef role. IN my eyes I'm safer than the vast majority of UK retail workers, let alone pub workers.
