  1. And yet when I try to explain that we risk such things when we advocate for any type of pro weed thing I get told I should just be grateful it won't be illegal.... FUCK THAT NOISE! I want quality and quantity. Do you think a corporate and statist model gives a shit for that once it has hegemony over a relic black market that can be clobbered over the head by the police with renewed efforts? Given what I know of the Free Market then if I had to choose between it staying being a black market but subject to the proper rigors of competition Vs a Controlled Market operated by the state that is not subject to competition then I would honestly rather it stay illegal until such a platform presented itself.

  2. Whitman, Price & Haddad That is a good point. I very quickly realized I preferred rolling my own through connection of product in that I made that roll up and that the cost was less thanks to me rolling my own. Very few smokers agree with this ethos however and would prefer what are ironically refereed to as tailor made, even though they are the opposite of being tailor made unlike my roll ups. I then discovered vaping and have not smoked anything other than joints, pipes and bongs for almost 4 years now. I did this because it was better for my chest and even cheaper than smoking roll ups but again I still have smoker friends that continue to put literally thousands of pounds per year into tobacco but here I am spending maybe £150 a year even as they complain of breathlessness...Some people will make terrible choices when the free market is at play but others refuse to accept that is an individuals fault rather than wider society which to me is bat shit mental given the alternative models we could have.

  3. I smoke a half ounce every 3 weeks+ a couple of days which is variable between 0 and 5 depending upon consumption however being British this would be grounds for dealing by quantity alone. Sounds like I need to become a Vermonter the only problem is a lack of a piece of paper declaring a specialization so I could try and enter on a work Visa. Something my English older brothers did not do which is why they got kicked out of Canada for being illegal immigrants... I know right. It could only happen to two white dudes who simply fled the heroin/crack user strewn mess that was their flat block life in England; to assimilate into Canadian society but nope. Deported. Although they did hand themselves in but that's a story in of itself as well. Now this is a long shot but yo Styx or any Vermonter for that matter, know anybody who wants someone who has done antique restoration all the way to cheffing in a pub or being a Back Doorman. What? That was the honest to god job title, well that or back door checker. What did I do? I took deliveries through the back door of a night and put them away nice and neat like. But anyway, regardless of my job skills I can boast an admiration for the American Constitution and not people who screw with it. Regardless of partisan allegiance. Sigh. Given the state of Britain regarding such things It's America or one of the Visegrad 4 for me going forward. Out of those four I'd go with Poland or Hungary but then again Romania has some surprising IT credentials and are always on the look at for tech savvy English speakers to come live there.
