Been following Styx since 2015 and can I just say, I’ e never knowm him be so misinformed on a topic as Ukraine/Russia. From the politics, to the history all the way to current economies and military disposition as well as performance. TL:DR Russia is stronger economically speaking post invasion, Styx is hypocritical with Ukraine malfeasance getting stomped on by Russia vis a vie Monroe Doctrine, the application of the NAP at a national level gives Russia reason to act in it’s sister nation ignoring Pax Americana. Also the biolab thing was legit, US funded labs were doing the same thing as was done in Wuhan but with Corvids in Ukraine. Combined with research into biological reagents that could specifically target the slavic ethnicity. Okay so this is a bit more than TL:DR by now but ‘member when John McCain hopped onna plane amd went to Ukraine? Video of him speaking to Azoz members…the same military unit that threatened Zelensky’s life when he tried to demand they pullback from Donbass shelling campaign so Minsk could be implemented. Hmmmmmmm. The misbegotten legacy of John McCain continues through the Zelensky/Kyiv government. Can you really blame Russia/Kremlin/Putin for saying right. Enough is enough. 10000 dead civvies across 8 years of the western and Kyiv backed Donbass shelling campaign had most Russians thinking something needed to be done as well. Finally the west have been played for fools by superior Russian diplomatic manoeuvring on the global stage and Russia now fields the largest combat experienced army on Earth with the most munitions to boot. Ukraine meanwhile has an ever increasing average age of service men/woman/they (lol) with an ever decreasing stockpile of munitions. That represent the dwindling stocks of what, a coalition of some 50 nations? Yeahhhh. Russia be winning this. I do however agree with Tarl that it’s noteworthy Crimea happened on Obama”s watch and Ukraine on Biden’s stewardship. With nada happening whilst the orange one was in the White House. Damn I miss Trump being in the White House. Get him back in there will ya Ameri-bros?

@SootShade Like I said, I consider Tarl to be normally more well informed on a given subject than most Content Creators I’ve seen. Let alone Talking Heads on the TV. I may disagree with him on some stuff and for sure he’s self censored on certain things but I appreciate his take on things in general. But not on Ukraine/Russia. EG Tarl makes an excellent point regarding “face” politics no longer been understood by western politicians/society at large. But on Ukraine he seems to utterly discount the very real “eternal ho-hol” meme and apportion equal status to both Russian and Ukrainian culture/governance vis a ve corruption. Nah. Not even close. Hence the fact Ukraine was never allowed to join the EU historically speaking. It’s simply too systemically corrupt as a nation and people, even more so than Russia. Hence the meme of the ho-hol because even corrupt Russians look down on such levels of corruption.
