  1. Looks like it's time to shut those folks up; who say America never did go to the Moon! There are mirrors that we fire lasers at and time their time to return. With this data we calibrate the worlds nuclear clocks by determining how long it took the fired laser to return. This is useful as the Earth vibrates on it's axis and this motion slowly throws even the most precise clock off over time. The best I've heard to rebut this argument, coming from the we never went there crowd, is that mirrors would get covered in dust so stop drinking the NASA kool aid etc. >Mfw fuckers don't even know just how innate the surface of the moon is. Hence all those lovely and pristine impact craters never eroding...even if some of them are a tad shallow... ;) Either way though, lot's of Helium 3 up there and we are inching towards cracking hot fusion so getting ahead of the Chinese regarding the moon is strategically desirable for America and by extension, the world.
