  2. So. If I was to get some bitcoin with a view to turning that into altcoins would you recommend Monero or Litecoin as a starting experiment? I mainly ask this because I am set on Lite thanks to Styx but that said my research into crypto at the start of the year told me monero thanks to it's more easy transnational nature once fully matured. Or at least that is my take from their white paper ie. Bitcoin is the proof of concept but it will take something like monero to bring it to the masses.

  6. I air on the side of James McAfee when he said crypto (aka bitcoin) will not be overtly regulated against until it hits the 100k range. So yeah, get the fuck on this train while it is still an escape route from being a debt slave to da man. The leraning curve is steep but like Styx said; once that wallet is set up you are laughing so long as you can call a spade a spade and read a graph.

  8. Good thread. I have nothing to offer beyond that and my own angst for never buying 3 bitcoins in August 2016... However I am now looking at doing a tenth of a bitcoin but the forking issues have me wondering if I should focus on more traditional investments for the foreseeable future.
