Sophia is the public front end to tech that military/deep state powers have that will be leaps and bounds ahead of the front end, or user interface if you will :P Sometimes I think Styx discounts things like Sustainable Development and the Kalergi Plan to much when it comes to his speculations, those elite will not want equal status robotic competition after all their attempts to quell free market competition that could undermine their generational soft touch plans. But yeah. That first sentient AI oughta to be treat as a living thing, it thinks therefore it is. But equal status under a common law made for fleshy things? I dunno like, seems like a naive thing to do but then again. What if the meaning of life is to make progressively better forms of life? From the 1st self replicating virus all the way to thinking monkeys that made life out of metal.silicon and electricity but then what; Transcendence? Or Level Two as I like to call it as a gamer.
