I think one of the reasons Styx continues to grow on YT, albeit at a snails pace, is because pretty much anyone worth their salt who does the political commentary thing will mention an argument by Styx at some point. So you have dribs and drabs coming to Styx from the wider ecosystem despite algo nonsense. Long gone are the days it was fun to create content for YT these I imagine. I did it years ago, almost got signed by an MCN for 2 years but I declined. Thank god cos that was literally weeks before the first adpocalpyse when YT changed MCNs legal status. And that was what, 2012? Either way the whole platform is screwy...

Plus Breadtubers gonna grift to make money and grow off the back of actual hard working content creators. Styx was one of the very first people to point this out. C. Jared Holt.
