  2. Here in Blighty when David Cameron quit over Brexit, he said upon leaving office that one of his proudest moments was forcing churches to wed gay people. Yeah well forgive me if I point out that A, such a policy was never a Conservative mandate that they campaigned on and B. How is discriminating against Christianity (cos no one says anything to Mosques) kosher but discriminating against gays utterly verboten? It’s strange how so called right wing conservatives are shilling for discrimination against a demographic they are meant to traditionally represent. Personally I think there should simply be a state level equivalent to church based marriage for those who, due to holy scripture, are not allowed to be wedded in a church. That way everyone can do the marriage thing if they want. But of course that’s not good enough for the alphabet people and their pink haired allies. You will bake the cake, you will wed us etc. At what point do we start talking about LGTBQ+ fascism?
