@Galt's Gooch 'who don't beliebve in climate change...' Science is not belief ya know. We hae entered a solar minimum, PPM of CO2 is no where near the highest it has been observed to have been (some 5500 during one of the dinosaur ages) C02 hugs the lower atmosphere thanks to it's atomic heaviness, is osmosises with the ocean to a degree not accounted for and indeed nonsense like the Paris Accord is based on very, very bad data. There's some value in your comment but a come on. 'Climate change' is something no one denies, man made climate change through C02 production is something one can very easily deny based on real world observations. EG. Water vapour has a net cooling effect through refraction rather than the computer model claims of a net heating effect as claimed by anthropocentric C02 driven climate change proponents.

Oh and Trump saved Americans some 20 trillion dollars when he pulled out of the Paris Accord. I salute such savings when the science is so painful to behold.

@Galt's Gooch Appeal to authority, I don't care for them. If we went with consensus science we would still have Newtonian Physics, for example. Co2 is plant food and if it was not for the industrial revolution then plant life would have crashed causing an extinction event as around the time of the industrial revolution the level of C02 was dangerously close to the danger zone for plentiful plant life (140-120 PPM of C02). Also if we go with the claims of global warming it is good for mankind as again, C02 is plant food and the most arable land in the world is currently covered in permafrost throughout Northern Canada and Siberia so there goes another man made climate change claim. Mass starvation thanks to agricultural collapse. Should I now mention provable falsification of climatic data at Cambridge University? And the dinosaur stuff matters because it makes a mockery of the run away green house gas claims that are made through the infamous hockey stick graph (which is BS because it is nothing but a blip when one looks at a much bigger graph that covers a greater length of time). Also there was more biomass back then cos again. More C02=more plant life=more predation=more and bigger life. The bad data I talk about is how the Pause Buster report, the one that was rushed out in time for the Paris Accord meeting, swapped satellite data sets for ship based data sets. Ship data sets are horrendous for localized variables of heat and humidity meaning the data is unreliable in contrast to satellite data. Also the computers used to produce the raw data wore claimed to have crashed not long after the report was unveiled and all data was lost meaning it cannot be peer reviewed. I'll grant you the other stuff about big oil, pharma etc but again. A come on. There is NO need for the economic hamstringing of the west thanks to industrial kneecapping at the hands of carbon credits even as China and India get paid billions to do nothing until 2030 and get this. China and India put all of the west to shame when it comes to _pollution_. C02 driven climate change is bullshit, man made acidification of the oceans is not. What i mean by this is that no one wants to live on a dirty planet so if you care about the planet get off the C02 pseudo-science and onto real world observable reality of Human pollution.

@Galt's Gooch Long term projected costs of the Agreement with America as the primary financier. Like I said. India and China only signed up because for some daft reason western politicians saw it fit to pay them billions per year to do nothing except sign on the line. Same with a bunch of African countries. Then there is the projected cost of kneecapping one's own industries. It all adds up. But just to be charitable. Let's cut that figure in half. Styx likes the tax cuts of Trump but does not like the lack of budget cuts to balance them. Well I posit that ten trillion saved over the next 30 years is a good offset to such tax cuts.

@Galt's Gooch 'You people are so dumb in the same ways, with the same logical fallacies, with the same pathetic blame shifting and whataboutism' So ad hom is not a logical fallacy eh? We are done here. EDIT. I really do agree with that not excusing your own side sentiment however. IOty's why I lambaste Trump for continuing a military presence in Syria despite Western Deep State Ops having caused that foreign proxy war after Libya fell.

Is it time to talk about how that 90% claim is total and objective bullshit? A letter was sent out to some 3 thousand scientists and about a third responded. That's how that shtick starts. But muh consensus science! Bay the intellectual Luddites.

@Galt's Gooch Bawhahahahaha. Subjective as can be. You made an argument and I rebutted it, you then made an appeal to authority and used an ad hom whilst decrying logical fallacies. Fuck off.

@Robert Boucher I second this motion and upgrade it to an accusation of shilling.

@Galt's Gooch ' This is just a narrative people tell themselves when confronted with science that contradicts their worldview and that they don't really understand. Its a way of perpetuating skepticism to the point where its effectively indistinguishable from denialism. Please stop with this meme.' Look in the mirror friend. Man made C02 driven climate change is non science.

@Galt's Gooch Come on bro. I await your Socratic rebuttal with baited breath and boots a'quiver.

@Galt's Gooch 15 years of net cooling make a mockery of your asinine argument. How are those polar sheets looking in terms of square foot? Glaciers? I reiterate. We have entered a solar minimum and I now expand that this is not accounted by muh science and this evidenced by the fact that the woman who posited the solar minimum findings had her work suppressed by mainstream scienc, for over a year, as it did not accord with their rejection of reality. You're move, naturalistic climate change denialist.

BTW, I'm still waiting on a non sophist rebuttal as to what I have said.
