Even as a Brit I find it odd that any nation declares that any child born on their soil is a citizen. That's how you end up with "birthing" tourism. People hop on a plane just to squeeze one out in the UK and boom. They are anchored via their so called British child. That was delivered for "free" but was in fact paid for by people that have paid into the system. Friggin mental. Surely only the children of parents that legally emmigrated and have became citizens, should themselves be considered citizens. Until then children of immigrants with reduced rights compared to citizens. Parents do illegal stuff during their cool off period then the kids are fresh out of luck, get on this plane and feck off along with your parents.
