  4. I do like the analogy but as you say. Mindless organisms cannot be readily equated with animals that have higher cognitive functions. Even Dolphins I would say and I could agree that Socialism and Capitalism could co-exist in an ideal world but the statement is flawed so long as Socialism is underpinned by Critical Theory that advocates the deconstruction of everything Western cos muh feels. Even logic to the Critical theory adherent is a manifestation of Greek patriarchy and represents a mechanism of oppression and must be rejected. The whole dialectic of Socialism is one of the Oppressed Vs the oppressor. Hence why so many young bloods are attracted to such models. Right now Socialism can only be fought as it has had to be since it's inception at the Frankfurt School in Germany during the Wiemar Republic era and which ran away to America once Hitler showed up. Those depressive ingrates fled Nazism to America where rather than be grateful they hated and schemed until academia had being infiltrated and that get's us to today. Socialism. Cultural Marxism. Postmodernism. All insidious offshoot of Marx's flawed work and look at what they are doing to the fabric of society. Also I found the argument that any kind of welfare must be a manifestation of Socialism to be quite lazy (not that I am saying you made a lazy argument in regards to co-existence but a lot try to say having police is socialism etc which is just plain wrong.) That would mean the much vaunted and all too rare now, Final Salary Pension, was Socialism when it is anything but. Oh and personal agency. People make mistakes and should be punished for them/held accountable/made to face the consequences of their actions. Socialism would argue any mistake is the result of societal tyranny thanks to a capitalistic system of meritocracy. That really irks me. Again. No wonder the young bloods love it.
