  1. Mfw in the past 2 weeks I’ve done close to 160 hours. Sucks to be a second chef when the head chef walks out but the opportunity to clear my pesky lockdown era 9k of credit card debt just presented itself. So I’d love a 4 day/32 hour work week. But I refuse to see how it shouldn’t be down to anything other than circumstance and personal agency as to how many days/hours one works. The idea that the gubbermint has the final say is not only scary to me but I’d say antithetical unto freedom and personal outcomes. If I was forced to work less cos regulations I’d be living with compounded debt for a lot longer. Nah. Self improvement comes in many forms and one of them is money. Most of us gotta work to get it so who is the government or some leftoid/union to state I can only work this paltry amount of hours per week?

  2. Agreed. Also the best managers are those that worked their way up from the bottom and didn’t simply rely on revolving door executive culture or a piece of paper that says they know the theory but not the practice.
