  1. I too was very dissapointed in Razor claiming a well done steak is merely a cooked steak. I work as a chef and while I personally am not a fan of steak and would get a burger that is due to me not being a philostine. Most of the flavour in a steak comes from the myogolbin that most incorrectly refer to as blood and in the process of cooking a steak you cook out the myoglobin. So the more well done a steak the less it will taste like steak should. Also you know these people who get finnicky over meat that has come up to room temperature? Remind them that steak generally hangs in open air for 30 days before you even get it. Also beef has a anti microbial property that other meats does not have which is why you can have a blue steak of beef but not other meats. Anyway. Basically if you like well done then fair enough but just know you are a philostine for doing so and there is no counterargument that stands beyond a subjective insistance on personal taste. Razor.   2. Bloody hell considering how much you yanks spend on military budgets you'd think the grub would at least be half decent. From what I have heard from people taht served in the UK armed forces is that the food was damn good.
