  2. Whoever does the ad read scripts is sure earning their pay. One of the fee ad read segments I don’t skip cos it will undoubtably be funny. And any company willing to be low key roasted via sponsored ad reads by content creators is alright in my book.

  4. I respected the hell out of Prince Philip. As a northerner I was not meant to like any Royal but nah. He was one of us barring title. Plus him and Maggie represented a Britain that deserved to be preserved. Dunno about modern Britain.

I’ll comment and I’ll comment saying indeed. Abraham Lincoln was America’s first tyrant. He did indeed war monger with Fort Sumper, he did indeed not free a single slave and he even endorsed a genocidal generals mad march through the South.   16. When I was a kid I thought this man a madman. Now I’m all grown up I realise he was a mad lad. Top respect to an OG defier of unjust tyranny. When the state and corporation collaborate, you have fascism. And I am not talking this new age anything I don’t like is fascist. I mean Fascist as per the words of the God Farther of Fascism, not Mussolini but the guy that inspired him. I forget his name. But he basically said fascism is extreme centrecism vis a ve a collaboration between the state and corporation, to influence markets and people, as opposed to state and church which had historically been seen in Europe up until the turn of the 20th century. MFW when we live in an age of technocratic fascism enforced by an app based duopoly between Alphabet and Apple which is safeguarded by whichever government claims to legitimately represent you. So long as that representation is along internationalist/globalist/woke lines. Anyway. RIP to a man that had simply had enough of being mistreated. You died a free man enacting his justified yet tempered revenge. Beyond some financial harm, he never physically harmed anyone. What a top bloke.

  22. I hail from Middlesbrough which was once the beating heart of British Empire industry. I grew up being told I should hate the Iron Lady but even as a small child I earned enemies because I pointed out it tales 2 too tango so Scargill is as much to blame. My point is government management of British mining operations, be it coal or iron ore, was never sustainable norma good thing. The MCB is proof positive that government (read centrally planned) ran programs are not only unsustainable but overall really quite bad for outcomes.

  25. I don’t even like wrestling but here I am nearly half way through a mad lads episode on a prominent wrestler. I did grow up during the hayday of wrestling mind so I have some Nostalgia for names like Triple H, Stone Cold, The Rock, The Undertaker etc etc. so maybe that’s why I’m still here despite occasionally thinking. Why am I even watching this?

  29. Northern Englishman here in Count’s age range and I ‘member getting right royally into toruble for calling someome a “flid baby.” While in school. I didn’t quite understand the connotations as a kid but as an adult who does; I’d still call someone being stupid a flid baby. Get over it. It’s easier than being an actual flid kid. FFS.   32. The rant, in defense of British food, around the 38:00 mark. Ain’t that the truth. Nowt wrong with beans on toast. It’s hearty and cheap…or at least it was until rampant inflation by a feckless ruling class. Anyway. As is fish and chips and by damn if toad in the hole is not comfort food. Sausage roles, cornish pasties, parmosans, yorkshire puddings, quiches, crumpets, full English breakfast, shepards pie, cottage pie, bubble N squeak and on and on. Maybe I’m biased via having been a North East of England chef the past decade of my life but the notion of the 3 Bs of British food is both true and false. Depend where you go, as with wverything. Plus, as Dank alluded too, it’s not my fault I come from generations of hardship induced thriftiness and frankly you aint cooking any of the aforementioned correctly, during an age of plenty, if you don’t use some of those spices one built an empire upon. Huzzar unto the beer battered fish and chips I cook pretty much every day of my life. Such a dish served the homefront through much more than just 2 world wars….verily the M1911 of the culinary world….snarf snarf. Drinks tea imperially like.

  38. I have a video from the days I dabbled at content creation. Basically I smack myself in the head with a wooden staff while trying to do a neat thing. I consider it an ode to an OG meme. Aka Star Wars kid. Recently some work colleagues found out about it and they found it hilarious. Someone even said you could have been Star Wars kid back in the day. Mission Accomplished. And I never got memed on by the interwebs like that fellow nerdy kid. (I’m totally not asking you to click on that video and reem me in the comments lmao.)
