  1. The notion of diverse Europe pre 1950 is just so bleh. Try picking up a historical book and note what I said. Not history book, historical. There’s a difference. I was born in 1988 in the North of England. Aged 6 I saw my first black person and asked my mam what was wrong with that persons skin. That’s how rare it was to see a non white in the 90s. But apparently England has always being notably diverse. No and no. I’m fine with demographic shift via legal immigration so long as the ideas don’t change (ya know, free speech, private ownership rights, secondhand markets etc) but trying to insist there has been no change is only going to get peoples backs up whose lived experience flies in the face of dogmatic propaganda.
