  6. Game was great but the story sucked. The book "Fall of Reach" by Eric J Nuland however. Yeah. That positively slapped. Shame all we saw of that in the game was some lame flashes in the sky which was meant to represent the humbling of the Covenant even as Humanities greatest fortress fell. Why? Cos we done nicked their flagship while wrecking a majority of the invading fleet and slipped a NOVA nuked into Covenant supply chains that would eventually destroy the Covenant home world/ship. Sure, Reach fell but from it's ashes Humanity saw it could give more than a bloody nose to what was until then seen as invincible enemy. Meanwhile in the game we got a story of who can have the most heroic of deaths while defending a doomed planet. While barely defending any fusion reactors powering the orbital MAC stations. Pffft. Stil tho. I get it. Move the orbital repair and refit station into a defensive position because we got slipspace ruptures detected and ready all the MAC cannons.

Which honestly given the context of Ukraine should probably still be getting talked about. From the questionable pardon to the questionable things Biden did to get that Ukrainian state prosector investigating his sons business dealings in Ukraine fired. It's enough to make me think this whole Ukraine thing is more about western elites protecting their dodgy interests/investments than it is anything principled. Meanwhile Russia seems to be actually acting along pricnipled national interest type stuff. If America can have a Monroe Doctrine then I think it fair Russia has a satellite state against a combative Europe. And given that historically Ukraine has been barred from entering the EU due to systemic corruption at the state level then. Well. Why am I surprised the kind of western elite I've voted against for a decade now expects me to foot their Ukraine tab? Worst part is I'd love to visit Ukraine to pay my respects at The Liquidators monument in Pripyat. As an Englishman that voted Brexit and has supported people like Trump, Le Pen, AfD etc I do think there's an alternate timeline out there where Europeans are refugees in Africa, Middle East, Americas etc due to Europe being a radiocative wasteland for millennia to come. Which I find darkly ironic and I don't really think Britain/EU has really expressed real gratitude to that sacrifice. Not like the cleanup didn't play a roll in the bankruptcy of the USSR. It was not all nuclear subs and Tsar Bombs that did them in financially. Finally people forget that only 1 reactor of 4 popped on April 26th (? on the exact date, going by memeroy) 1986 and if not for certain prompt action all 4 could have cooked off. And even once the disaster was contained it took the sacrifice of some 300000 men to quell the melted down reactor and build containment. And half of them were dead before their time years ago.

  22. Ya hear that scream? That’s the kinda scream that if I heard as I dude just out and about I’m investigating cos I think a woman is being preyed upon somehow. Well these fools equate what is happening now, politically, to that kinda darkness. They really do have a psychological problem. We once said TDS as a meme but the more time goes on the more I think it should be a legit diagnoses. And I don’t say that lightly, I would not be the person I am today ie quite well respected, well put together and getting on in life(amma head chef opposed to burger flipper drowning in debt now); if I did not voluntarily submit myself to 4 years of psychodynamic therapy. The group part was the hardest but the most beneficial. I accepted I needed it when STALKER 2 first got cancelled and I had a bit of a mental break. This came not long after losing a best friend to my own self absorbed folly. When I realised such a little thing had caused a near ending event( ya know, one of the many no no subjects on YT) I accepted I needed help that friends and family could not provide. So when will the TDS crowd accept they need help? Like I did once. What will it take for them to collectively realise they are the problem and not the orange one?

Kinda respectable. Shame about the big guy stuff and that energy company in Ukraine of which I think should be further looked into but yeah. No government should have any amount of right to the kind of power that ends in well looked after animals being ended for no good reason. Also something tells me the anonymous tipper was a PETA member. As one must know that PETA thinks pets sould be put down. Don’t believe me? Just look at what whistleblowers and document leaks show.
